AnaVation is looking to hire a dynamic Workforce Development Specialist to evaluate and implement training and education opportunities for an Army client in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. The purpose of this position is to identify effective trainings and education workshops to enhance clients skill-sets and ensure placement and staff utilization. The ideal candidate will form partnerships with external organizations to develop relationships and continuing professional development for the client. Directly reporting to the contract PM, the candidate will support all requests made by the client as approved by the COR.
Responsibilities:
· Identify professional development training and workshops for the client
· Act as a liaison between outside organizations with opportunities for workforce enhancement and client
· Create and maintain a record of all events, activities, workshops and attendees.
· Provides periodic reports regarding progress and evaluation of programs, events and activities
· Support all actions supporting new employee orientation/onboarding as directed by leadership
· Facilitate information sessions at local agencies with similar agendas to establish connections
· Organizes, edits, and distributes special and regular communications with the client regarding the resources and events available
Required Skills:
· 3-5 years of professional development related experience
· Knowledge of recruiting
· Community engagement, event planning or PR knowledge
· Must have an active Secret clearance
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· MS Office proficiency
