The IT Specialist is responsible for assisting the IT Director with programming, monitoring, and support related tasks, which include but are not limited to end user support, network, hardware and software monitoring; proactive maintenance of IT equipment, basic administrative tasks related to user accounts, profiles and permissions; and programming and testing features for internal software systems.
The Information Technology Specialist reports to the IT & Marketing Director of All-In Removal. The IT Specialist is responsible for ensuring a great experience for end users through positive interactions with IT and by ensuring that employee and customer IT requests are well documented and receive a thoughtful, fast and courteous initial response. The IT Specialist will also seek feedback from end users throughout the development process and serve as the primary source for knowledge transfer between IT and end users. In addition, the IT Specialist will perform basic administrative configuration and software development tasks and may be asked to assist with marketing related tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
v Follow a system of IT policies, procedures and electronic recordkeeping for IT requests including the documentation of outcomes
v Provide basic troubleshooting and information gathering related to problems, issues and requests
v Assist with marketing efforts including assisting sales with basic advertising layout, photo editing and design, compiling campaign lead lists, reviewing analytics and keywords
v Perform configuration and provisioning of software and hardware by following steps provided by management
v Assist with code debugging, testing, documentation and version control to insure quality of software systems
v Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and CI/CD Git
v Candidates with experience using RESTful APIs, Amazon Web Services, Linux commandline and PHP will be given priority consideration.
v Knowledge of Windows Server (including domain controllers, group policy management, software deployment, DNS), Vyatta or derivatives, VOIP, Windows 10, and Adobe Creative Cloud Apps are all a plus, but not a requirement.
