Video Learning Developer

 Position Overview

The Video Learning Developer’s (VLD) primary responsibility is to produce instructional and informational videos quickly and efficiently.  Video Learning projects will vary from day to day. Some will be extremely fast (ie. one hour from idea to youtube, an instructor how to demo), some will be regularly scheduled (ie. a monthly video on safety trends in maintenance), and some will be long detailed projects that require taking instructional designed raw materials (a Google Doc, Google Slides, photos, video clips, etc.) created by a subject matter expert and develop them into a final video to be delivered through the ATP online learning platform. The VLD will need to make some visual design and content layout decisions in conjunction with the ATP Marketing and Training Departments.

The Video Learning Developer’s skill set, ideally, would include strong experience using non-complex video equipment, iPhone is preferred for most all projects, and simple video editing software like iMovie.  The VLD will have entry to mid-level skills in graphic and visual design abilities, and an ability to manage timelines and due dates is important. The position requires entry to mid-level experience and a comfort working with audio and video technologies. ATP operates over 40 Flight Training Centers nationwide, has over 300 instructors and over 1,100 students, the VLD will play an integral role in disseminating important information through video.  Aviation experience is extremely desirable.
