Aviation Maintenance Technician
A&P Mechanic – Piston Aircraft

ATP is looking for quality Aviation Maintenance Manager to join our growing team. We need managers and technicians that can fit in quickly, have a positive attitude, and have General Aviation experience working on piston powered aircraft like the ones we fly: Cessna 172 / Piper PA-28 / Piper PA-44.

Position Overview

This position works as an aircraft maintenance manager performing and supervising inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft. The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • FAA Inspection Authorization
  • 5 or more years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations airworthiness requirements
  • Possess adequate tools

Desired Qualifications

  • Private pilot’s license
  • Avionics troubleshooting experience with modern avionics


  • Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies
  • Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries
  • Supervise and manage team of technicians
  • Follow all policies and procedures
  • Keep a clean and orderly work environment
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

We offer a fantastic work schedule of Mon to Fri from 8 to 5!
