The Recruiter will work onsite in our Beltsville, MD headquarters office as a member of the Corporate Administration team. The person in this role will be responsible for working directly with our CEO, Executive and Senior Management leaders to achieve the staff augmentation goals of our rapidly growing organization. This role will be responsible for the entire recruitment process including onboarding the new hires. This is a great opportunity for taking your career to the next level!

The Job:

  • Help managers/directors create custom job descriptions to meet their hiring goals
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS): Google Hire
  • Utilize job boards for optimal recruiting activities
  • Attend recruiting events such as career/job fairs and networking events
  • Work with the CEO to provide HR guidance on laws, best practices, etc surrounding the recruiting process
  • Recruit and hire new talent across multiple departments
  • Screen candidates and schedule interviews for hiring managers
  • Initiate references, background, and education checks
  • Prepare and extend Offer Letters
  • Create and send out New Hire Packets, prepare offices, and onboarding training schedules
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation 
  • Process New Hire Paperwork 

Required Skills:

  • Recruiting experience required
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, laws, and current changes occurring within these realms
  • Flexibility
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to drive projects to completion in challenging circumstances
  • Ability to facilitate discussion, identify, and implement alternatives or different approaches
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work under minimal direction

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with any Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Experience with E-Verify
  • Experience with Sterling (background check system)
  • Experience with National Student Clearinghouse (edu check system)
  • Experience conducting professional reference checks

Required Education/Experience:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in recruiting
