We are actively seeking an Outreach Coordinator to support California market development as part of our Growth and Network Operations team. We are particularly focused on the areas of Monterey, Fresno, Bakersfield, and the Central Coast (from Santa Barbara to Ventura).This is an exciting, entrepreneurial role which will entail partnering with colleagues across Aledade to expand our national presence through innovative partnerships with independent physician practices. The Outreach Coordinator must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be an excellent communicator and an empathetic relationship-builder who is energized by the mission of helping practices to sustain their independence through value-based care. S/he will serve as a subject matter expert, helping to educate prospective practices and clinics on value-based care and Aledade’s capabilities.
Founded in 2014, Aledade is a healthcare company funded by some of the most prominent investors in healthcare, including Venrock and Google Ventures. We help independent primary care physicians deliver better care at lower costs by supporting their transition to value-based care. Our rapidly expanding national network includes more than 4,000 participating providers in 24 states. Aledade shares in the risk and reward across over 35 value-based government and commercial contracts representing more than 500,000 lives under management.
This is a full-time opportunity working remotely based in California and willing to travel within CA.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with VP, New Market Development to create and execute California market development and physician outreach plans against specified growth targets
- Defining market-specific channel strategies to derive growth from outbound efforts as well as from partners, existing practice referrals, marketing activities and events
- Cultivating relationships with market-specific partners and influencers, including Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), medical associations, consulting firms and payers/health plans
- Leveraging publicly available data to target markets and individual practices/clinics, blending direct and indirect channels, virtual and field-based outreach, and experimenting with various tactics and marketing approaches
- Engaging with prospective practices and clinics in a consultative manner; building rapport with clinical and business staff, understanding their needs and goals, teaching them about Aledade, demonstrating our population health and analytics technology, delivering financial benefits analyses, illustrating the opportunities and challenges associated with the value-based care journey, and assessing practice ability to successfully achieve shared savings
- Coordinating with teammates to create demand generation strategies, marketing campaigns, collateral/content, event plans, promotions and awareness-building ‘air cover’ to reach and engage target audiences
- Identifying and closing gaps in go-to-market content and resources required to achieve growth targets
- Capturing key insights, progress and next steps within Salesforce CRM, generating weekly reports that illustrate progress toward goals, priorities and plans
- Learning continuously about value-based care, the needs of independent practices, and Aledade’s business model, capabilities and approach to value-based care and population health management
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, or a related field is required. Significant and relevant work experience in lieu of educational requirements may be accepted.
- Expertise in the California physician market and associated dynamics
- Experience with or preference for entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environments that require ingenuity, flexibility and resilience
- Experience in physician network development, sales (especially to physician practices), or business development
- A love for people and relationships, confidence in establishing new connections and building rapport with a long-term view
- A knack for inquiry, clear communication, storytelling, active listening and persuasion
- Sound judgment in managing focus, juggling multiple priorities and knowing when to escalate
- Collaborative, supportive and candid with teammates; proactive in asking questions and eager to lend a helping hand
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other customer relationship management (CRM) platform
- Willingness to travel
