Analyst, Medicare Stars Program

We are actively recruiting for an Analyst for the Medicare Stars program. The Analyst will play a critical role in driving success for the Medicare Advantage Stars quality program across Aledade’s provider network. The Analyst will work closely with Aledade’s network performance team and field teams across Aledade’s markets to ensure Stars excellence. This role requires demonstrated excellence in creating “buy-in” with internal stakeholders to promote and effect change in the way healthcare is delivered and assessed.  We are looking for individuals who genuinely believe that Aledade’s model of physician-led ACO's can improve quality and lower cost. 
 
Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with Aledade field teams, Aledade practice partners and payors to identify gaps in STARS/RAF metrics and execute on strategic Stars approach in each market.
  • Develop systems for monitoring performance metrics tied to STARs and RAF and identify areas where we have ACO and practice level deficiencies/gaps.
  • Develop patient-level care gap worklists and share with field teams and practices.
  • Provide team training and workflow support to field teams and practices on STARS measures with additional emphasis on  medication adherence measures.
  • Design, test, and iterate on strategies for addressing STARS gaps in primary care practices 
  • Present performance on a bi-weekly basis to Network Performance team.

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • 2 to 3 years of related experience working in the healthcare industry (i.e., health plan, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturer, government, pharmacy chain, management consulting) with a proven track record of successfully managing projects and performance and interfacing with internal or external stakeholders. 
  • Relevant competencies include developing and maintaining customer relationships, analytical problem solving, project management, effective written and verbal communication, and strategic insight.
  • Must be results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead a team to consistently meet deadlines and expectations. 
  • Periodic travel to assigned Aledade markets and team retreats is required.  
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining focus on key goals.
