Vice President of Network Development

We are currently seeking a VP of Network Development to join our team. The VP of Network Development is responsible for Aledade’s growth and network development in existing and new geographies. The VP of Network Development would work collaboratively with state-based Executive Directors to develop strategic growth plans for several states in a given region and execute against this plan with the broader support from the broader Aledade Growth team. 

The ideal candidates will have a desire to be at the forefront of revolutionizing health care and catalyzing the shift to value-based payments. Successful candidates will hold a master’s degree in business administration, health administration, health policy, or related field and have 8 – 10 years of experience in a relevant field. Additional weight will be given to candidates with experience at rapidly-growing healthcare startups and physician network development. 

The VP of Network Development will be accountable for growth in lives under management and revenue potential in their given region, and report to the SVP for Growth & Network Operations. We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely with considerable amounts of travel. 

Specific Responsibilities include:
·       Create and develop strategic growth plans in partnership with market-level Executive Directors; 
·       Execute against growth plans in accordance with strategic growth plans, through the creation of tactical plans that include local marketing, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, membership referrals, and various other business development initiatives;
·       Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in and across various new geographies that support broader Company growth plans, including health plans, medical associations, health systems, and influential physician groups;
·       Attract and retain new physician practice partners by developing creative outreach strategies aligned with Company’s overall marketing and sales approach that emphasize practice selection;
·       Optimize the growth approach to prioritize growth in Company revenue potential;
·       Inform Company’s approach to new forms of partnership engagement, including work with IPAs, MSOs, and local support organizations (e.g., accounting, legal, finance, etc.); and,
·       Identify and develop opportunities in new business segments (e.g., regional health systems, community hospitals, etc.).  

Qualifications:
·       Must be a resident of the state of California
·       A Master’s degree or other advanced degrees in management, health services research, health and/or public policy, or other relevant fields is preferred.
·       Be able to manage existing payer relationships in California to gain additional value-based care contracts for practices
·       Candidates should have 5-8 years of related experience working as a client-facing project lead in the healthcare industry (i.e., health plan, hospital, pharmaceutical manufacturer, government, pharmacy chain, management consulting) with a proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing customer relationships and communicating effectively with senior management.
·       Relevant sales
·       Relevant competencies include developing and maintaining customer relationships, analytical problem solving, project management, effective written and verbal communication, and strategic insight.
·       Must be results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead a team to consistently meet deadlines and client expectations. 
·       Periodic travel to Aledade HQ, ACO sites within the State of California and leadership retreats in Aledade’s markets is required.  
·       Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentwhile maintaining focus on key goals.
