We’re actively recruiting for a Financial Analyst for our growing company with a current base of approximately 230 employees. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Accounting, the Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes. The Analyst will help with process improvement and developing management reporting packages. This is an opportunity to help build a finance department from the ground up while serving as a driving force in improving the health and well-being of millions of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Play lead role in month-end processes, specifically with tracking and analyzing company overhead spend and allocations
- Ensure expenses are properly coded by department
- Provide monthly variance analysis v. Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year
- Assist in month-end reporting pack to CFO and periodic Board of Directors presentations
- Support business leaders in managing their cost centers with monthly reporting and finance connect meetings
- Assist in annual Budget and long-term Strategy Plan processes
- Assist with periodic forecast processes
- Work closely with the accounting team on implementation of new financial systems
- Assist with headcount tracking for the total company
- Assist with annual ramp plan for hiring, working closely with Business Managers, Recruiting, and Operations
- Miscellaneous reporting and analysis in support of other financial and business priorities as needed
- Complete ad hoc analyses as necessary
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Accounting / Finance
- 1-3 years working experience in Finance
- FP&A experience a plus
- Strong working knowledge of finance basics including P&L and Cash Flow statements
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Advanced Excel skills
- Must be able to understand and revise excel models
- General knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, experience with QuickBooks a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player attitude is essential. Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility. Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
