Job Summary
Serve as a point-of-contact for the Human Resources Management and Consulting Service and be responsible for providing administrative and office automation support in the areas of recruitment/placement, classification, security, employee relations/labor relations (ER/LR), benefits/retirements and related advisory aspects for the delegated examining unit (DEU) Title 5, Title 38, Hybrid- Title 38, Wage Grade employment systems of VHA.
Ability to gather and analyze data to identify significant factors; Experience using computers and automated systems to manage data, to include MS Office Products; Ability to prepare and present briefings.
Responsibilities and Duties
Major Duties:
- Perform a full-range of support assignments.
- Provide support to HR specialists involved in one or more specialties such as classification, employee benefits, recruitment, and staffing; security, etc.
- Use personal computers to prepare HR documents with complicated formatting (e.g., headers and footers)
- Use personal computers and software programs in an office environment to extract, revise, or sort information from files, records, or databases.
