Job Summary
The Human Resources Enterprise Center (HREC) Learning Infrastructure Directorate is strategically positioned to deliver education, leadership development, learning and training that is consistent with VA strategic goals, core values and our mission to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow, and the orphan.
Our primary goals are to:
1. Provide innovative tools to support learning and employee development
3. Establish governance for the use and integration of enterprise-wide learning tools
4. Establish data management strategies to support decision analysis; and
5. Improve customer satisfaction
Responsibilities and Duties
Will also be assigned projects and assignments to support VA's launch of the Emergency Alert and Accountability System. Includes projects that plan and direct activities for the Department-wide emergency preparedness project in support of the Office of Human Resources and Administration’s mission essential function – personnel accountability
  • Manage VA Alerting and Accountability System (EAAS) in alignment with VA and HREC goals and objectives
  • Develop, modify and coordinate policies, guidance, and procedures related to emergency alerting and accountability
  • Develop metrics that matter and coordinate the measurement and reporting of those metrics to VA senior leadership
  • Provide EAAS training to EAAS administrators who require access to the system
  • Support the establishment of an EAAS Community of Practice (CoP)
  • Develop goals, objectives, long and short-range plans, procedures and operations
  • Implement, maintain, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of VA's employee accountability process related to disaster preparedness and emergency security readiness for NCA and other VA employees

Required Experience and Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a graduate degree
