About Aktis
Aktis is a London based start-up building tools to help corporate governance and compliance professionals. We started in 2016 by creating the most comprehensive bank corporate governance data platform and are working relentlessly on creating new products and services to turn Company Secretaries, supervisors and governance and compliance officers into rock stars. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to come on board and accelerate our customer development and get our products into the hands of those who need them.  The can be based in London or Prague.

Business Development Manager
– Drive the entire sales process from start to finish including opportunity identification, prospecting, introductory meetings, product demonstration, Q&As, as well as negotiation and closing.

– Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals.

– Actively engage with prospective new customers to introduce Aktis and our value proposition.

– Build a pipeline of qualified leads – researching and prospecting new potential Aktis customers.

– Determine the most efficient way to get in touch with the right decision maker at prospective companies.

– Develop a deep understanding of our customer needs and share feedback from customers with product and research teams to improve experience and product.

 

What we’re looking for
– 5+ years of outbound B2B sales experience with a strong demonstrable track record

– Knowledge of corporate governance.

– Experience selling to or working with the Company Secretariat, Investor Relations or the Board. 

– Ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiation and closing.

– Experience collaborating and working internally across different departments to build solutions for customers.

– Adaptable and a can-do attitude – energised by working in a fast-paced environment characterised by constant change.

– A passion for sales in a start-up is a must.

– Ability to travel
