JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for acquiring top tier talent for IT professionals in the Analytics, Cloud, Security & Risk, Program Management, Application Development, and specialized IT areas of focus. The role will be responsible building a long-term relationships with selected candidates, understand their career expectations, motivations, technological and functional preferences.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS 
 
  • Proactively source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for open roles
  • Use Social Networking and online tools to proactively source and communicate with prospective talent
  • Identify, plan, manage and attend internal and external networking events that will connect you directly with talent
  • Keep up-to-date with new recruiting methods; assist in developing consistent recruiting strategy
  • Build strong consultative relationships with Altair client account leads in order to understand business priorities and anticipate staffing needs
  • Develop robust University Relationships
  • Leverage high level communications skills throughout the recruiting lifecycle to provide information on the recruitment market place, gain a better understanding of talent pool and to set realistic expectations
  • Demonstrate a consultative style, providing relevant metrics and industry trends to develop creative solutions for talent recruitment and retainment
  • Ensure a smooth recruiting process by using communication skills to manage expectations and provide process updates
  • Participate in or lead planning of Talent Acquisition Events, inclusive of large conferences, onsite networking events, and more

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 
  • At least one year of IT recruiting experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and spoken
  • Being a team player, but also able to work independently
  • A proactive mindset, who shares ideas and brings them to life
  • Ability to clearly identify trends in top candidate's requirements and needs
  • Ability to act as a sourcing wizard, identifying the best, fastest and efficient ways to get the best talent
  • Knowledge and experience of interview techniques and the ability to adapt to the audience
  • Start every conversation with the intent to build, develop and maintain relationships with your candidates
  • Capability to organize your tasks accordingly and prioritize assignments
  • An open mind in terms of continuous improvement
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
