Account Manager - Enterprise

Adwerx is one of the fastest growing startups in the country (recently on the Inc. 5000 for the third time, has an award winning benefits package,  and is in the heart of Durham, NC). As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and caring for our most important relationships. In this role, you will interact with top-level leadership (CEOs, CMOs, CIOs) of our enterprise partners and will be responsible for building valuable relationships with key stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor for strategic partner initiatives, and keeping our most valued clients engaged and excited about the partnership. This is a hybrid role combining technical account management, product thinking, and consultative sales.

Due to the geographic diversity of our partners, the position requires travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic and tactical management of partnerships with Fortune 1000 companies
  • Negotiate and generate additional revenue opportunities within existing accounts to meet revenue goals
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Generate meaningful reporting and manage invoicing
  • Provide continued value in order to retain our current customers
  • Travel to meet with partner firms
  • Form trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and develop strategies around partner and company initiatives 
  • Onboard new partnerships and relationships
  • Support VIP clients and accounts

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years managing and expanding enterprise level relationships
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Start-up experience is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm in pressured situations
  • Ability to generate spreadsheets and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to set customer expectations accurately
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
