Job Description

AdmitHub is seeking a Chatbot Writer to evolve our conversational strategy as we assist over one million students on their journey through higher education. This position is responsible for creating the language and content our chatbots deliver in direct communication with students across the globe. Our bot personas are highly conversational, interactive, and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Help us bring our chatbots to life with engaging and impactful content
    • Develop a deep understanding of our chatbot functionality, our student and partner needs, and how our bots add value to these relationships
    • Define and develop the conversational patterns, language, dialogue, and overall personality of our bots by leveraging your knowledge of college student needs and behavioral science insights
    • Own the evolution of our bots’ personalities and define how they will deliver trustworthy, empathetic and impactful assistance
    • Refine the voice and tone for the bots through analysis of the current state, continuous improvement, and expansion of responses
  • Work closely with our product team to improve conversational interaction of our bots
  • Help shape our Conversation Design process and documentation methods to support the testing and development of conversational functionality
  • Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
 
Qualifications
 
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience creating content in a professional environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent copywriting skills - be able to write concise and digestible copy
  • Impeccable grammar
  • Data-driven approach to decision making
  • User experience design a plus
  • Experience in or deep knowledge of college access and persistence preferred
  • Experience with or insight about the challenges faced by students from historically underrepresented or disadvantaged socioeconomic groups preferred
  • Experience in Conversational AI platform and/or developing chatbots in SaaS environment a plus
