Marketing Content Strategist

Administrate is a training management platform used by hundreds of companies around the world to plan, design, deliver, and measure learning and development for their employees and customers. Our mission is to provide an industry-leading platform that enables enterprises to run their training function more efficiently and effectively so that they can focus more on connecting with people than administrating programs.

We are a fast growing, energetic company, with an established global customer base, a solid core team, and a clear vision. And, we’re looking for a new Marketing team member. Is it you?

Who You Are

You're a passionate and talented content pro, seasoned in brand storytelling.  You’re always searching for a challenge, always looking to improve. You’re a highly skilled writer, experienced in working within a product company, preferably SaaS, with a focus on enterprise and account-based marketing (ABM). You have solid experience across channels and media types with a wow-worthy portfolio to back up your resume.

You love to learn, and you love to collaborate. You drive yourself with high standards, know how to receive and give constructive feedback, provide creative input, engage with problems, and maintain a focus on solutions.

You love to work with smart, creative people, and hate mediocrity. Small teams, dynamic organizations, and flexible working environments are what you thrive in, and you're comfortable working remotely with others.

What You'll Do

You’ll take the lead on crafting strategy and collateral for Administrate’s brand marketing and sales enablement efforts. This part is important: this is a Marketing role, not suitable for those with a primary background of technical writing. While you’ll need some technical savvy in order to learn about and communicate our platform effectively, convincing and converting sales is your ultimate task. Resumes submitted without a portfolio of marketing-related work may not be considered.

Specifically, you will:

  • Help to develop our brand voice and style as a growing, active company upscaling into top tier enterprise clients.
  • Craft a content strategy against our persona-based message maps to support our enterprise sales process, leaning into ABM best practices and your creative ideas.
  • Work creatively and collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to produce content that is compelling, convincing, and converting.
  • Serve as a content strategy evangelist within Administrate, sharing key messages with a variety of teams for internal education and customer experience consistency.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to plan, develop, and produce effective sales enablement materials in support of in-person and online customer encounters.
  • Develop content across important channels and media types, including but not limited to: web copy, white papers, case studies, video scripting, sales sheets, leave-behind materials, email, infographics, and more.
  • Provide input on company-wide key projects and events to ensure the voice of Administrate is executed consistently and on-brand.
  • Offer a content strategy perspective to established automated marketing systems and workflows to improve conversion and uplift sales.
  • Manage vendors as required to produce on-time and on-budget projects that meet or exceed expectations for results.
  • Adjust strategic direction based on impact results. Know how your content is performing and always strive to improve. Deliver high SEO-value content that supports Administrate’s online competitive dominance.
  • Model our company values in all interactions, always serving as an effective ambassador of the Administrate brand, internally and externally.

What You’ll Need
  • Experience in B2B marketing at the enterprise level. Fluency in account-based marketing is required.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • A strong track record of contributing to digital campaigns (bonus points if you can share results), and sales enablement for a SaaS company.
  • An exceptional ability to translate technical software details into human conversation, with meaning and relevance to the persona audience.
  • Flexibility at working effectively across time zones, with up to a 9-hour difference.
  • The business acumen necessary to interface with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • A desire to learn quickly and deeply about a wide range of issues.
  • A very strong work ethic, with a track record for getting things done in a high pressure, time sensitive environment.
  • Finally, it would be great if you had some knowledge of our industry, specifically in corporate learning and development and/or training operations.

What You'll Get
  • Enjoy working as part of a talented team where everyone’s input is valued
  • An unrivalled work/life balance – you work a 4-day, 32-hour, week but get paid for 5 days!
  • 22 days paid vacation per year (includes standard US holidays if you choose to take these off)
  • Great tools – MacBook, 27” monitor, mechanical keyboard etc
  • Flexible working schedule
  • Pizza Wednesdays
  • Beer fridge, free snacks and great coffee
  • Corporate membership option at The Ridge
  • Healthcare, Vision & Dental, FSA
  • 401k retirement plan with company match
  • Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
