AdColony is looking for an Account Executive to support our growing programmatic business and brand team. Given the strong growth of programmatic spend across brand advertisers, AdColony has doubled down on our programmatic offering and commercial efforts.
The Account Executive will be responsible for partnering with trading desks, digital agencies, brands, and internal teams to drive Private Marketplace revenue. This role will also serve as a programmatic subject matter expert for the West Coast brand team as they work directly with brands, agencies, and their respective trading desks.
Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and acquire new programmatic business opportunities
- Develop and cultivate relationships with trading desk leads, strengthening partnerships for future business
- Drive new Private Marketplace revenue and meet quarterly revenue targets as set by management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams from Sales, Client Services, and Technical Account Management to ensure optimal campaign delivery, performance, and execution
- Gather information for potential improvements and changes that can be added to the product roadmap
- Work with internal platform and supply stakeholders to connect the needs of our various customer constituencies
- Support the West Coast brand sales team to grow their agency trading desk accounts by helping them uncover programmatic advertising budgets, navigate programmatic sales, and close new business
- Partner with Operations to develop documentation, training, and education for our internal stakeholders emphasizing the capabilities and expectations for our programmatic offerings
- Co-lead training, QBRs, and overall education sessions on an as-need basis for West Coast team and accounts
- Travel to agencies, trading desks, and brand clients
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience working in a media sales organization selling brand advertising campaigns, mobile experience a plus
- 2-3 years of experience selling programmatic advertising or educating brands, agencies and trading desks about programmatic advertising
- BA/BS degree required
- A strong set of existing relationships with trading desks, brands and agencies at all levels
- Proven track record of building relationships with the media/advertising industry
- Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising and mobile advertising ecosystems
- Experience in or a passion for mobile and video advertising
- Exceptional consultative and solution-driven relationship skills
- High energy, self-motivated and passionate about working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
