**NOTE: This position will be in Oakland, CA until December 31, 2019. We will be moving office locations to Newark, CA on January 1, 2020.
Role description:
As a Hardware technician, you will be responsible for supporting the engineering team for Holo’s additive manufacturing tools. You will be relied upon to assemble tools and fixtures, run equipment, and conduct testing.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly of electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems
- Conduct testing of prototypes
- Document improvements for engineer teams
- Execute modification and rework in coordination with engineer teams
- Collaborate with a team of diverse engineers to design and optimize our additive manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience of assembling complex machines
- Experience of wiring and cable routing
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Ability to work with and configure computer hardware and software
- Experience running equipment and following test procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Operate on a desire for excellence and a sense of ownership
