Business Development Manager

Role description

As a business development manager at Holo, you’ll be responsible for engaging, enthusing and forming relationships with new customers in order to accelerate Holo’s growth. You’ll be on the front lines in a rapidly evolving and exciting industry, informing the direction of the company and helping customers reimagine their businesses with the future of fabrication.    


  • Identify and qualify customer opportunities 
  • Capture and report on prospect needs and market trends 
  • Secure customers and implement across the full sales cycle, including constructing project proposals and closing contractual agreements
  • Establish key sales metrics and milestones, reporting on progress
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and oversee the implementation of customer projects

Role requirements 


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales or business development role
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, bringing technical or industrial products to market 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets 
  • Relevant technical background, preferably with a degree in the sciences or engineering

  • Self-motivated to seek out and develop market opportunities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to distil complex ideas and communicate them simply
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment with changing operational needs
  • Effective decision maker
  • Competent with CRM systems 

Nice to have

  • Additive manufacturing, CAD or industrial fabrication experience
  • Background in aerospace, medical, automotive or robotics/automation
