    Ackroo is seeking a Bilingual Digital Marketing Specialist who is fluent in both English and French for a permanent full-time position at our Hamilton office. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Bilingual Digital Marketing Specialist will support both Ackroo’s corporate and customer digital marketing efforts. You will join a dynamic, fast-paced and highly skilled team with lots of opportunity for growth. You should be self-motivated, energetic, and have a passion for digital marketing, email marketing, social media management and PPC campaign development.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Digital Advertising/PPC/Lead Generation
    • Identify opportunities to create effective digital lead generation campaigns
    • Create content with internal teams to facilitate the execution of digital advertising campaigns
    • Conduct research into competitors and industry trends to create effective campaigns
    • Advise on required video assets required to execute campaigns
    • Develop, implement and monitor bidding of PPC campaigns 

    Email Marketing
    • Collaborate with segment leaders and creative teams to develop content to be sent out to existing clients to promote product updates and marketing services
    • Work closely with the design team to create custom email templates for the deployment of emails on behalf or clients across all industries
    • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content etc.

    SEO/Website Optimization
    • Conduct keyword analysis for the gift card and loyalty industry in order to develop effective PPC/Google Ad campaigns that will increase inbound leads
    • Complete updates to corporate website using WordPress
    • Ensure all inbound leads and inquiries via the website are sent to the correct internal team members and/or imputed into our CRM
    • Monitor and track all performance metrics on Google Analytics to ensure optimal website performance
    • Facilitate improvement of organic search results and reduction of bounce rate

    Social Media/Content Management
    • Manage corporate LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and blog content development and posting
    • Plan and execute social media and content marketing initiatives, including developing content for the Loyalty,  Automotive, Petroleum, Retail  and Hospitality industries
    • Conduct weekly analysis and submit reports summarizing the effectiveness of each social posts and blog
    • Work with internal teams to develop content and creative required for social posting
    • Acquisition of digital marketing tools required to increase social media presence and following across all social platforms
    • Use custom and look-a-like audiences to generate leads across social platforms

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Provide weekly reports on all key digital metrics
    • Manage relationships with external partners where necessary
    • Ensure corporate branding is reflected across all digital campaigns and social platforms
    • Brainstorm digital campaign strategies for customer acquisition
    • Ensure that all digital initiatives are responsive and compliant with the most recent digital advertising rules (CASL, AODA)

    Required Skills/Qualifications:
    • Degree or diploma, majoring in Business, Marketing, Digital Advertising or Communications preferred
    • 2-4 years of digital marketing experience
    • Experience using enterprise level email and social management tools
    • Strong knowledge of responsive digital design
    • Experience managing social and communication campaigns by customer segment and/or specific industry
    • Background in coordinating digital marketing tactics in paid media channels including search, display & social
    • Exceptional organizational and prioritizing skills 
    • Basic knowledge level of HTML 
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills
    • Ability to think both analytically with an eye for great creative design

    Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:
    • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot 
    • Working knowledge of WordPress or website development
    • Hands on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
    • Previous experience working in a software, merchant services, payment services, gift card, loyalty, automotive, petroleum, retail and/or hospitality industry position
    • English and French (mandatory)
