The System Integration Team integrating Increment II of the US Army's Integrated Personnel and Pay System (IPPS-A) is looking for an experienced Database Administrator. The selected candidate will support the program by joining the IPPS-A Infrastructure team to support activities of multiple teams including development, test, data, reporting, sustainment and operations. Activities including but not limited to: source file acquisition, data loading of various data types (eg. xml, flat files, Oracle dmp, SQL server, etc.), DDL/DML/SQL execution, table and schema creation, user/role security, table maintenance, data migration between data centers, etc. General Oracle database support activities will include: database sizing, cloning, testing, debugging, replication, backups, restores, disaster recovery, and ongoing support to include status checks and critical patch updates.
Required Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree and 7-10 years of related experience
· Current Secret Clearance required; SSBI preferred
· Current Security+ Accreditation required
· 5+ years hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA
· 3+ years experience working as a DBA in support of PeopleSoft
· Solid understanding of Oracle database, Exadata, Solaris
Desired Qualifications:
· Solid experience installing, configuring, upgrading and tuning Oracle 11g/12c on Solaris & Linux
· Experience implementing Oracle Database Vault
· Experience implementing Oracle Audit Vault
· Experience supporting Oracle Golden Gate
· Experience working in support of PeopleSoft ERP
· Good working knowledge of SAN vSAN technologies
· Experience with volatile storage and recovery techniques
· Experience with ZFS helpful
· Experience with Oracle Superclusters
· Experience working in DISA and working with the DISA DECC environment
· Direct hands-on experience with the DISA DECC SAN technologies and COOP process
· Experience with DOD and/or GSA database security requirements is a major plus
· Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12c, Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and have Unix shell scripting, SQL Scripting and PL/SQL experience
· Minimum of 4 years of Oracle Database Administration experience in Solaris and LINUX environments
· Minimum of 2 years of Oracle SQL or PL/SQL development experience
· Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional helpful but not required
