Job Description:
The Client Systems Administrator provides first-response/desktop support for the program and their associated software, hardware, configurations, and architectures as listed as part of the C2MS Contract. This is an opportunity to enter a fast-paced operationally focused environment serving the Special Operations community that allows professional growth and development beyond the Client Systems Administrator norm.
Functional duties include:
- Directly interacts with the customer via phone, email or in person as part of the Client Support Team
- Receives and processes service requests and incidents for multiple geographically separated locations
- Assists in development of automation scripts and trend analysis to refine and build efficient processes
- Inputs, monitors and tracks information in Remedy and other ticketing solutions
- Resolves problems by clarifying the issue, researching known issues and assisting in implementing the fix action, and escalating issues that cannot be resolved.
- Advises and works with functional teams on Service Improvement opportunities to reduce call center volume, streamline processes and develop new processes ultimately increasing customer satisfaction
- Participates in training events and incident response exercises
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years related IT systems experience
- Customer service skills which include the ability to meet goals in a timely manner while being action-oriented, taking ownership, managing time wisely and working effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience providing Windows 7/10 administration
- Experience with PowerShell
- Experience managing user and computer objects in Active Directory
- Must have a Secret Clearance to begin work and the ability to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance
- The work is performed in an office environment
- Must be able to obtain a passport for OCONUS travel, if required
- Lift over 35 LBS
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager
- Experience with Windows Preinstallation Environment and other deployment tools
- Strong technical competence and aptitude and the ability to plan for and implement large scale hardware and operating system upgrades
- Quick thinker, experienced in unconventional problem solving
- Comfortable initiating change; consciously managing and shaping change
- Ability to balance and consider multiple issues and perspectives while focusing on the overall vision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management from application developers to the CIO

Required Certifications:
- DoD 8570 IAT-2 or higher compliant required to start (Sec+ CE or higher)
