Position Summary:
Abnormal Security is seeking a Technical Account Manager to help build our growing Post-Sales team. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the chief advocate for strategic customers across a wide variety of industries, relay key customer requirements and insights back to our Marketing and Engineering teams, and envision strategic business solutions to help our customers build leading email security programs.
You will be responsible for communicating with senior technical and business leaders across our enterprise customer base, delivering results and best practices related to our email security products, and owning successful outcomes for our customer engagements.
What You’ll Do:
- Own strategic customer engagements throughout the entire customer lifecycle, including owning key engagement success criteria and presenting to customer security leadership
- Provide technical pre-sales support for assigned Enterprise Account Executives
- Assist Enterprise Account Executives in development and implementation of sales objectives and account-based penetration strategies
- Conduct technical and competitive landscape research to effectively address customer questions
- Serve as a technical resource for pre-sales security and platform diligence, including
- Educate sales executives and partners on Abnormal Security’s products, platform, and security
- Obsessively drive customer satisfaction
About You:
- 5+ years industry experience in pre- or post-sales engineering
- Prior experience communicating with and presenting to the C-Suite across the F500
- Superior technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Technical background in messaging and Internet security principles
- Strong understanding of how Internet protocols work (HTTP, SMTP, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.)
- Ability to see and present “the Big Picture”, uncover business challenges, and architect a solution to solve customer business issues
- Ability to work independently in a high-velocity environment
- Positive attitude, customer focus, and strong sense of ownership over customer results
- BSCS/BSEE or equivalent
- CISSP
- Ability to travel 25-50%
