Andreessen Horowitz, a high technology venture capital firm, has an immediate opening for a Strategy and Operations Partner for the Cultural Leadership Fund (CLF).
Andreessen Horowitz is a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm with $10 billion under management. Focused on investing in software eating the world, the firm partners with entrepreneurs in their company building at all stages -- from seed to late-stage -- in the biology, consumer, crypto, and enterprise industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for (1) leading strategic initiatives for the CLF, (2) expanding the CLF network of talent (founders, engineers, and business leaders), and (3) overseeing ongoing operations, procedures and metrics.
We are looking for someone with a broad understanding and interest in the intersection of culture and technology and, most importantly, a strong passion for advancing African Americans in technology.
What you will do:
- Manage nonprofit strategy, talent pipeline, and relationships for the CLF
- Drive impactful partnership opportunities between CLF portfolio companies and nonprofits
- Accelerate strategic fund initiatives, work with the team to set strategic priorities, and develop internal processes and metrics
- Collaborate with other functional groups within the firm on strategic projects
- Help with future fundraising efforts
Who you are:
- You have demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business operations, and aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- You have working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- You have extraordinary interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and experience working with senior leadership
- You are highly organized, and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
- BA in Business Administration or relevant fields; MBA a plus
