Facilities Coordinator

Andreessen Horowitz, a high technology venture capital firm, has an immediate opening for a Facilities Coordinator.

Andreessen Horowitz is a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm with $10 billion under management. Focused on investing in software eating the world, the firm partners with entrepreneurs in their company building at all stages -- from seed to late-stage -- in the biology, consumer, crypto, and enterprise industries.

As the Facilities Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support and information from the facilities organization. In this role, you will support all facilities activities at the firm and assist with coordination and troubleshooting of audio/visual systems for live meetings. What you will do:

  • Oversee onsite event setup, including room preparation, chair and table setup, etc.
  • Provide conference room A/V support, including setting up presentations, connecting video conferences, and basic troubleshooting of A/V equipment
  • Manage the facilities project management system, including receiving work requests, assigning work orders and entering data
  • Manage the security access-control database with the security contractor
  • Prepare and maintain RFP's, bid information, and other contract documents
  • Maintain and update administrative policies and processes
  • Support Head of Facilities in all aspects of project implementation as needed

Who you are:

  • Associate’s Degree and 2+ years of facilities management experience
  • You have managed facilities in a fast-paced, high-profile environment
  • You are knowledgeable in building management and maintenance operations
  • You can work autonomously with demonstrated ability to follow through and drive project to completion
  • You are a great team member and are capable of communicating professionally both verbally and in written format
  • You are highly organized and proficient at handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • You are able to perform and lead technically complex projects with independent judgment and personal initiative
  • Prior experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite products
