Junior VFX Artist

Our Client is leading AAA console/PC studio currently working on their new IP (AAA console/PC shooter).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating ambient environment effects that enhance mood, tell a story, and make the world feel alive
Working with the designers to create effects for scripted events and story moments
Creating gameplay effects that make the world feel exciting, and that give the player necessary gameplay feedback
Working with the lighting department to create atmosphere, a sense of depth in the scene, and to reinforce the color palette

QUALIFICATIONS

Artistic sense, creativity
A good eye for the timing, animation, and motion of real world objects and visual effects
Experience with UE4 tools for VFX creation
An understanding of real-time effects
Ability to collaborate with Artists, Designers, and Programmers to work through artistic and technical challenges
High work ethic and self-motivated
Desire for knowledge
Demonstrates dependability and commitment to projects / tasks
Flexible approach with the ability to adapt with change
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Language English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in their studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus)

PREFERENCE TO APPLICANTS WITH

Passion for games is a huge plus
Working experience in the gaming industry 
Experience working with Unreal Engine 
General knowledge of 2D/3D software
