We’re hiring a Director of Billing & Reporting to support our operational finance and invoicing. Reporting directly to the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, this role will own the ongoing reporting and review of financial performance of client portfolios in partnership with Operations leadership. The position will also lead our pricing and billing functions in collaboration with Operations and Accounting. Our ideal candidate is a leader with a drive to deliver extraordinary results. As Director of Billing & Reporting, You Will…

  • Work closely with functional groups to identify areas to improve financial performance while maintaining operational excellence
  • Lead a strong and growing team of 11 employees including 3 direct reports
  • Own internal financial reporting to the Operations team for key metrics as well as external budgeting/estimates (annual and monthly projections) for clients
  • Provide recommendations to Operations and Executive to improve financial performance execution on key accounts
  • Develop analytical models to assist operational teams in measuring and managing performance
  • Participate and support special projects requiring additional analysis
  • Lead the Billings Team and provide support on more challenging invoices as needed
  • Review all pricing models submitted by the pricing team for accuracy and adherence to company margin profiles

As Director of Billing & Reporting, You Have…

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Economics, or similar discipline
  • CPA designation is considered an asset
  • At least 4 years work experience which includes managing people, collaborating with different functional groups, reviewing financial work, and organizing a team to consistently meet critical deadlines
  • Strong knowledge and background in financial analytics
  • Analytical and problem solving experience with attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a mid-sized team
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills to develop internal relationships and partnerships with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to complete tasks quickly in a high energy environment
