We’re looking for a Building Service Officer (BSO) to maintain a safe, secure and comfortable work environment for our employees and visitors. This role will be responsible for scheduled and responsive maintenance management. Because 24-7 Intouch is known for its incredible campuses, the ideal candidate will be passionate about enforcing standards, rules, policies and procedures.
As Building Service Officer, You Will…
- Regularly walk the campus to ensure the site is in good and presentable condition
- Ensure that basic facilities (eg. water and heating) are well-maintained
- Ensure all areas are in line with PCI compliance
- Conduct badge audits
- Enforce clean desk policies
- Identify maintenance needs and escalate them to Facility Managers as needed
- Distribute headsets for all new hire training classes
- Audit campus spaces before visitors arrive
- Assist with incident reports and emergency situations
- Audit and distribute standard BSO and office supplies
- Projects as assigned (eg. hanging TVs, installing corner guards, organizing storage closets, etc)
- Assist with Employee Experience Team activities and events
- Reset program lounge spaces and training rooms
As Building Service Officer, You Have…
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- Completion of a post-secondary degree (asset)
- The ability to prioritize the safety and security of our employees, visitors and campuses
- The ability to enforce rules and regulations confidently and courteously
- The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, including employees, partners, visitors and vendors
- The ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
- The ability to influence and motivate employees to attain campus/facility goals
- The capability to organize and follow-up on multiple tasks with accuracy
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- The ability to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
