Traditional Media Buyer

1SEO.com I.T. Support & Digital Agency has a new opportunity for a Traditional Media Buyer in our HQ in Bristol, PA.  This full-time role is being added due to expansive growth.  This is an exciting opportunity to continue to enhance buying methods and techniques in  both traditional and digital media for one of the leading agencies in the Philadelphia area.

Core Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the negotiation, added value, purchase, execution and delivery of approved media plans including traditional media such as TV, Cable, Radio, Print, and Outdoor as well as some digital extensions in OTT/CTV and streaming audio in local spot markets
  • Keep track of all sent orders/revisions/cancellations. Ensure paperwork was received and returned with a signed copy and all electronic orders are confirmed
  • Provide deadlines for materials and mechanical specs to client, internal team, creative and traffic department
  • Assist Media Planners with media plan development including gathering materials and presentation building, provide current market conditions and rate expectations, recommended daypart GRP goals by market, CPPs using SQAD (RFP vendors, Scarborough, request media kits, Key Notes, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Train and use all media planning, research and buying tools; for example, Strata, MediaTools, DCM (Ad Server)
  • Check media contracts to ensure consistency across internal and external systems
  • Reconcile all invoices in SBMS as well as resolve any billing and reporting discrepancies in C&P
  • Report campaign performance including TV post buys, delivery/pacing and optimization recommendations
  • Pull competitive spending reports using Kantar and/or Numerator and compile competitive industry analyses with charts and graphs
  • Responsible for requesting avails for all types of media and downloading into Strata, projecting ratings, scheduling, ordering, makegoods, etc.
  • Build and maintain excellent Vendor/Publisher relationships

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on Marketing, Advertising or Communications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • 3-5 years’ experience in media buying
  • Must have a proficient understanding and working knowledge of media measurements
  • Experience with Strata and all its tools. 
  • Ability to deliver good quality work on deadline
  • Excellent skills in Google email and Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Some analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proactive, self-starter who can manage their time well
  • Ability to work well with a team

  • Passion for traditional marketing and a desire to learn
